ABOUT EMMA
I am a Cape Cod native, currently a second year Master of Architecture student at Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I believe juxtaposing my intensively analytical mechanical engineering background with design and representation-oriented architectural study has simultaneously allowed me to develop two very different, but complimentary approaches to problem solving. This combination of knowledge and skill-sets has enabled me to bring a unique, multifaceted perspective to my work.
Through my class projects, I have learned how to be an effective team member in many group dynamics—varying in cultural and intellectual perspectives, levels of work ethic and camaraderie. In each project I have pushed myself and my teammates to think innovatively within the limits of the assignment and implement ideas for unconventionally elegant solutions.
