Model Skyscraper
I worked on a team of four students to design and construct an earthquake-resistant model skyscraper to be tested on an earthquake simulator. My team researched active damping building techniques and came up with an innovative irrigated sponge base that effectively minimized the impact of the earthquake simulation. Our design was recognized for outstanding aesthetics and innovation.
